I have found out the hard way that setting episodes to record to any setting other than “Keep All” immediately deletes episodes - even unwatched, recently recorded episodes.
I would set up a show recording and select “Keep episodes from the last 30 days”… after a recording finished, it would load metatdata and then delete the episode. That particular episode wasn’t even a day old and it would still be deleted. Its possible that “X episodes” settings do that same when setting up a recording. I haven’t tested that yet.
It seems that the “Keep episodes from the last X days” isn’t using the recording date.
After a few episodes of a show are set up and recorded with the “Keep All” setting I tried changing the Keep settings.
The “X episode” seems to work fine keeping the last X episodes.
Again the “Keep episodes from the last X days” will delete everything even if a show was added/recording in under X days.
This is not how I expect the “Keep episodes from the last X days” setting to work. Can anyone confirm this?
