Keep getting 'Unavailable' on movies in plex clients

Hello all:

I have recently added a synology DS918+ NAS to my network as I wanted better performance from my NAS for transcoding. I also have a DS416+ which until now has been where Plex server was installed and has worked really well - except for sluggish performance on the transcoding which is understood.

I have installed plex onto the new DS918+ and also copied all my movies into a shared folder with sub-folders. Plex has scanned all of these and everything looks good.

When I access movies from different plex clients more often or not when I click on a movie I get the ‘Unavailable’ red label on the detail screen of the movie. If I go back to the movie list and select again the same movie the ‘unavailable’ red box has disappeared and the movie can now be played. After that I don’t seem to have any problems.

From my limited testing is appears 8 out of 10 the first time I try and play a movie that has not been played before. This behavior does not happen one the older Synology NAS.
