Keep user audio/subtitle settings for whole show/folder?

If i change the audio/subtitle tracks to what i want, because Plex will mess this up all the time. Can the PlexTv App at least keep this choice for all following episodes or the whole show?

Atm if i switch audio/subtitles, this will only change for this one episode, so i have to do this again for every next episode… this is tedious and just bad handling. Why would i want per episode audio/subtitle selection as default?

Plex remembers audio/subtitle selections on a per-episode basis. It does not do so on a per-show basis.

I would love for a way to change all the default subtitles in a TV series at once. In the language settings, I have it to automatically enable subtitles if foreign audio is detected, however it sometimes displays subtitles for my purely-english shows anyways. The only way I have found to turn off subtitles is by manually going into each episode, of each season, of each TV series and selecting the drop-down subtitle box to “None”. If a TV show has 90 episodes… I have to select “None” 90 individu…

Oh ok, if this is still a issue since 2017 i guess i have to retest Jellyfin/Emby where i can at least use a external player, to solve this.

I think Emby handles it the way most “normal” users want this to work.
