All of a sudden my android apps and smart TV apps are not seeing plex periodically. It will display as online and play for a bit but then go offline. The web interface still works though. I was an update behind so I updated but still same issue. Logs attached. Database optimized today. Just updated and now I’m getting this as well as the issue above.
Tried rolling back to an older version of plex but the issue is still there.
From what I can see in your logs, which is very little, it appears the Chromecast is simply dropping off. Would you consider giving it a power-cycle reboot so it can reload the Plex player app at next usage?
Please create a fresh thread . In it , please include a tar.gz of your Logs directory.
Thanks for looking Chuck. I had power cycled the server and the Vizio Chromecast enabled TV but it kept happening. Even on my phone it was Offline.
I did run a sudo apt-get update and upgrade and things seem to be working better with only a slight hick up this morning. Any other logs I can send?
