I also got this email. As if I donā€™t use Plex at least every dayā€¦ For more than 3 hours or so EACH dayā€¦

Another bad marketing ploy, it seemsā€¦

Whatā€™s REALLY strange, my test account on a different email DID NOT get this email and I havenā€™t logged in with that account in at least 4 months. Someone really screwed the pooch with this oneā€¦

Plex knows if you have a server currently running as your Plex server it telling them. Itā€™s how you can access your Plex server though ā€œapp.plex.tv/web/appā€.

So I assume they meant to send the e-mail to people who had signed up to Plex yet no longer had a server running.

Sounds like a good story. Definitely need better wording if they want those users who ā€œyet no longer had a server runningā€ to come backā€¦ I know I wouldnā€™t if they said they knew I wasnā€™t watching anything latelyā€¦ yikes!

However, I love my Plex and on it all the time!! Donā€™t need an email for me :wink:
