Inside plex and you select to scan libraries, the only indication is the activity icon in the top left corner. When you click on it, all you see is what is currently being processed. After you watch for awhile, you will notice that it is not alphabetical therefore you really have no idea where it is in the process completion. I suggest you add an addition line at the top of the drop down box that says something like “Completed: 00.0%”. With a lot of videos, movie and TV episode, it would be nice to know how much has been done so you can estimate how much longer it will take.
There’s an existing suggestion discussing an option to display more information about the progress of an activity (possibly incl. an indicator on the estimated remaining processing time). I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
