Is it possible to extend streaming device apps by adding kodi / xbmc client?
Current Kodi plugins such as PlexBMC and PlexKodiConnect have different issues. the major issue is the sync of Remote / Friend Plex Library to local library.
As per PlexKodiConnect forum topic response, it is not possible to skip such sync.
I have multiple paid IpTv apps installed (interface is similar to Netflix) where I was able to search the show or the movie in their archive and to watch it. There are no sync maid into my local library.
I think, the currently available apps PlexBMC and PlexKodiConnect, are useful for local PMS but not for remote due to missed “skip local library sync” functionality.
