Large 4K60 HEVC files not listed

Files less than around 1GB (I’m not sure exactly what the cut-off is) are listed and play fine. Anything above that appears not to have been indexed and available for playback although the video files themselves are fine. I’ve checked the scanner logs and can find no errors relating to the files or host folders.

Is there a file size limit?

Thanks for your response. I followed your instructions but unfortunately there are no duplicates for any of the videos I’m referring to. They are all GoPro videos, with unique names, e.g. GX010081, GX010082, etc. Without fail, the ones that do not get listed are > 1GB, while the others do.

I’ve “found” the videos. But not where I expected them. I have two libraries, one for photos and one for videos. I have added a specific folder containing all camera rolls to both libraries. My reasoning there was that videos would end up in videos and pictures in the photos library. Which they do, sort of. However, ALL of my 4K60 videos (and all other lower-res videos) appear in the photos library and only videos of any type < 1GB appear in the videos library.

I moved one of the “missing” videos that is > 1GB into a folder that is only included in the videos library and it is included correctly. So, I seem to have confused Plex by including the same folder into both libraries. Although the photos library now includes all videos in the camera roll folder (which I didn’t want but could live with), the video library only includes those videos < ~1GB!

Is my use of libraries unsupported?

That’s that |'m trying to do but without sifting through 70K files, replicating folder structures, etc. My problems seem like a bug and possibly a new feature request but I’m not sure where to report them.
