Last 2 Beta server releases haven't shown for download

Plex employee posts on beta server release forum page, “you can download” … except when I go to the plex download page it only shows the main released branch still. Am set to show beta, am logged in, am a plex pass customer.

This has been the case for the last 2 beta releases - yesterday and today.

Thx. I’ll let folks know.

Same. I’ve been refreshing the site all day to get the new downloads because the previous releases are completely unusable for me causing constant playback errors. I was hoping to get the new upgrades.

Same here.

I download from the Plex download page and install instead, for PMS and Plex HTPC, these days.

Seems to work better than in app updates.

it should be there now.

Still seems to be missing from: Docker

I was told we never have offered the betas for Docker. Looking at past releases in the linked page that is the case

Strange, in the past it’s always seemed it updated on my docker installs at the exact same time as my Windows install. The change started with the first 1.40.x.xxxx release. But I’ll take your word for it.

ETA. Even the instructions here: plex - LinuxServer.io seem to indicate that Beta is available as long as you’re logged in by simply differentiating between adding :latest instead of :public providing you’re logged in with your Plex Pass account.

@BigWheel - email from Plex today with, “Plex Media Server 1.40.1.8173 is now available to Plex Pass users in the Beta update channel.”

However it’s not showing on the Downloads page.

Also not showing for windows…

OK thanks. I’ll ping folks to look into it.

Looks like the cache is taking a really long time to clear for some reason. It should show current beta version now.

It now appears @ plex.tv/downloads, but my 2 windows computers (10&11) aren’t auto-updating…

if you hit he check for updates button it does not appear as available either?

I’m sure you do but I gotta ask. Do you have the update channel set to beta?
