I carry both 1080p and 4k. all users outside my home call up 1080 versions by selecting the play version option before playback begins. As of the latest server beta when you ask for it to play the 1080p it just defaults back to playing 4k. Even once the move has started and you try to change the playback settings for that single instance it will not even transcode it or call up the 1080 version.
