@anon18523487 Any news on this topic?
Give it up dude. This will never get fixed. I move to jellyfin cuz of this sh*t attitude of Plex.
Seems like @anon18523487 is not working for Plex any more.
Can someone else from Plex please give us an update on this topic? (For background information please see this post and the posts before it.)
any newwwws?!
This needs to be fixed. Subtitles are off on all my players. Shield, webapp, both Plex desktop apps old and new.
I can’t get subtitles to show, whether they are PGS, vobsub, ASS, or even SRT.
I am using the official repo for APT on Debian and even tried the latest .deb beta. Nothing fixes this.
Can someone please look at this?!
@0arben0 how’s life man? Any news on this topic? Keep bumping this issue!
hi dude! i totally forgot to answer you ![]()
Life is good, always on the run.
Unlike the language issue fix by Plex ![]()
@BigWheel Could you maybe give an update on this topic? (For background information please see this post and the posts before it.)
If not, you you please point me to the correct person?
I believe this will never be fixed.
That’s a shame, i can’t believe we’re the only people who actually need (or like) to see things working as they were designed ![]()
Yes, unbelievable that it‘s been so long and there has been no action on this issue.
aaand I’m still here. ![]()
Complaining about this error BECAUSE IT MAKES NO SENSE.
Me too! Did Plex staff even care? Nope, they never care.
and we’re still here with the same issue never fixed ![]()
since i mostly watch english language content , i managed to set it up like this. But every time we watch something in our language (italian) i have to manually change the language and disable the subtitles.
I still can’t figure why this was done in the first place.
I gave up a long time ago man. Plex is an ordinary money grab while issues never get fixed.
i know but i feel so abandoned about this that i need to at least shout it out ![]()
