The linuxserver.io docker image gets 404 checking for the plex server.

ERROR 404: Not Found.

acc. to the download page its store under plex-media-server-new instead of plex-media-server. Why that?

647 was pulled back because of it not being ready - just hang tight and it’ll arrive soonish

It’s out now.

As you say it’s under plex-media-server-new and it will be there going forward. Its using a new deployment pipeline that don’t work well with the old folder structure

well. the linuxserver.io:latest image does not work with it then apparently… i still get 404 and its still the 1.15.0.647-67e950f12 its trying to d/l

They might have to adapt to our changes. The official container should work.

if it’s “should” instead of “will” i’ll gladly wait for linuxserver.io to catch up

Hi, I’m a member of the LinuxServer team. A few of our pipeline guys have been chatting with the Plex pipeline/deployment guys in order to get this sorted. This coincides with some sizeable changes to our own build pipeline as well. Hopefully this will be rectified soon, but it is absolutely on our radar.

New images pushed to the hub: Docker Hub

Not only the update to beta works with the new download location, but the images are now multi-arch (something we had been working on for a while). So they’ll work on x86_64 as well as armhf and aarch64. You just pull linuxserver/plex and it should automatically get you the correct arch.

Enjoy
