Has anybody else noticed that the latest plex client triggers an APC malware threat?
Upload it to virustotal.com and see how many different anti virus packages agree on that detection.
Great idea. I would but the anti-virus software won’t let me read the file and as I’m using a work supplied machine I don’t have control to disable it. I can only tell you how many bytes it is; 39,936 libcharset-1.dll If I can install the same elsewhere I can upload it, but then I’m not verifying this exact file either. Let me see what I can come up with.
Nobody else has an issue. Stupid ass Carbon Black. I hate this thing.

This file is a regular part of Plex for Windows.
Mine is also 39.936 Bytes big.
So I guess it might be a false positive.
