Pretty sure it’s a false positive.
(Unless you didn’t download it from the plex.tv website or your system is already infected.)

You can submit the purportedly infected file to www.virustotal.com and see if other anti virus software agrees on MB’s position that it is infected.

Thank you. Instead of updating “in-app”, I downloaded the update manually and ran it. No issue.
