Hi,
I’m the Plex admin user and I tried to follow this article: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/203888038-How-do-I-leave-a-Plex-Home-
But the “leave home” button do not show up (I only have Add User & Invite mode). I’m the only user. How do I disable Plex home entierly then??
Thank you, Thibault
If I remember correctly, when you remove all users in the Home (aside from the Admin), the home is essentially gone. If you’re still seeing Home-specific features, try creating a managed user. Then log in as the Admin and see if the ‘Leave home’ button is there.
Ok I see I just did it, but didn’t do much thing. I want to remove this “login” (see pic)
The main issue is:
If I loose Internet connection, Plex don’t let me access because of this “Home” in place.
Do you have a PIN enabled for your admin account?
No I deleted this. And on the screenshot it’s “unlocked”.
I have the same problem, could someone kindly help
It shouldn’t be this difficult to disable a feature especially one that’s sneakily forced with an update
Create a Managed User in your Home, and see if the ‘Leave Home’ button appears for the Admin. If so, then the Plex Admin should be able to leave the Home, which will destroy the Home and the managed user.
