Hi,
Is there anywhere in the UK (or anywhere) to be able to legally download and keep TV shows? I want to be able to get all 10 (or possibly 9, not sure how many there is) seasons of Spongebob for my kids. I can’t find anywhere that let you pay and actually own the content. It’s all rent or stream.
Thanks for any help.
There’s this company you may have heard of that’ll send DVDs right to your home. I’m not sure how it happens, but man those things fly out of that package and before you know it, in another mysterious circumstance Handbrake has my CPU all hot and everything…
I’m still trying to figure it out.

I don’t know the laws in the UK, but if they allow you to make an archival copy, your best bet is to buy the DVDs and rip them yourself.
Hi Richard, if your looking for copies of Spongebob seasons check out https://uk.webuy.com they have loads of cheap 2nd hand copies. Just checked and season 1 is £4. Like they said above rip your own archive copy as i’m sure the UK copyright laws got updated in 2014 to say we can rip copies for personal archiving purposes.
You can purchase episodes of SpongeBob to legally download and keep from iTunes. You won’t be able to view them in Plex though.
Can’t you just buy the rights to SpongeBob?
