Lethal stuttering with 4K over Gigabit - Plex appears to be throttling - Unraid 7.1.4/AppleTV

Server Version#: Unraid 7.1.4. arch-plexpass v1.43.0.10231
Player Version#: AppleTV, new player, most recent.

SOLUTION: In case anybody finds this, I fixed it myself with a little help from Claude. Basic issue, badly described: I had my Plex container on a custom ipvlan bridge network that it was sharing with almost all my other Docker containers, to help isolate them a bit from public exposure. Most clients, when adding a Plex server, would find it, but Plex would treat them as remote since they weren’t on the same subnet. Even though I’d whitelisted the LAN IPs and Plex considered them local, the clients would access media via a hairpin NAT - out to the WWW, back in to Unraid, via a subdomain (media.MYDOMAIN.com) in Nginx Proxy Manager, and would find themselves throttled to 30Mbps. Moving Plex to “Host” networking mode instantly boosted local speeds to 900Mbps.

Hey all. Having some super serious issues streaming 4K within my own household. Lots more detail in my Reddit thread, but basics are:

-Streaming to an AppleTV, connected via HDCP2.2 HDMI cable to TCL QM8 Android TV. AppleTV is on Gigabit ethernet and tests to the Internet at 900Mbps down, 300 up.
-Server is an Unraid box upstairs. Also ethernet, tests at 1000/1000.
-With the above, 4K files stutter so badly as to be unwatchable - 1sec pauses every 2sec.
-AppleTV app warns that not enough bandwidth is available to play in original quality, even when Direct Playing without transcode.
-If I connect Infuse player to my Plex server and speedtest a file, I cap out about 30Mbps.
-If I set up my media library as a Samba share and speedtest to a file there, I cap out at f***** 500Mbps.

Why is Plex throttling the amount of bandwidth available to in-home streaming?

FWIW, settings I’ve worked on:

-Have set my IP ranges so it reads devices on my home network as LAN, not WAN.

-Have lifted the bandwidth restrictions for both local and remote streaming in the server settings.

And a bunch, bunch more troubleshooting that’s not pertinent here. What is pertinent - Plex can’t transmit files faster than 30Mbps no matter what I do, but those same files stream perfectly well at extremely high speeds if Plex isn’t involved, and everything speedtests wonderfully… except Plex.
