Lets get a new metadata field for beats per minute (BPM)

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to add bpm to the metadata within Plex and use it to create smart playlists etc. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

BPM Metadata?

Are there plans to add the ability to read ID3v2 Beats per Minute (BPM) tags in Premium Music Libraries? If not, is there a way to manually add this? I’m a runner and create playlists based on specific BPM. Thank you!
