BPM Metadata?

Are there plans to add the ability to read ID3v2 Beats per Minute (BPM) tags in Premium Music Libraries? If not, is there a way to manually add this?

I’m a runner and create playlists based on specific BPM.

2024 Update
I now use PlexAmp almost exclusively for my music library (it’s amazing). It would be more amazing if this metadata field could be added to PMS and PlexAmp.

It seems many people would benefit from this. Please consider adding the metatdata field.

Would be great to have the BPM tag available and the key tag as well!

I would also like this functionality for sorting and organizing my tracks based on bpm for running mixes/playlists at 180bpm :grinning:

It’s interesting to see that this feature suggestion since 2017 has made no progress. Not even a feedback from a Plex employee.
I think it’s a fantastic addition.

Yes please - BPM would be very handy as a feature for Plexamp.
