LG C8 WebOS clicking with pointer selects the wrong item

When using the pointing functionality on the Magic Remote by first shaking to show the pointer, selecting the first tile and only the first upper left tile on the library or home tab will instead select the tab on the left navigation whos y coordinate is the same as where the pointer clicked from. i have tested not using the pointer and only using the dpad. i have tested selecting with the pointer the second (horizontally to the right) tile. i also tried selecting the tiles in the row below tcurrently displayed one. it is only the first tile on the row. even if you use the dpad to shift tiles in the row to the left and then select the first one it doesnt happen.

no but i just switched the theme to moonlight and thrn back to dark amd that fixed it. why was this a problem with the theme? was it cached on an older broken version?

Nope that only fixed it temporarily.

I am also getting the same issue on my LG 4K TV.

Where do you download the Plex for LG app? Its not in the downloads page and it only talks about it in the articles.

From the app store on the LG TV. Same as for Netflix, YouTube TV, etc.

Yes also from LG Content Store because thats the only way to do it.
