Today I tried out the Plex App for my LG TV which you can get at the LG store. Unfortunately, it does not support 4K HVEC video which is surprising since the Plex Media Player for the PC does. However, I did notice that it fully supported the LG Magic remote which is really really nice.
So where did you guys get the specs for the remote? I presume it operates via HTTP and some position sensors in the remote. Is the API published? This would make an awesome remote if integrated into the PC version and even if it was integrated with the android app to be used as a remote control. Where can I find the API?
