I have 2 profiles setup. One for my kid and the other for my wife and I. The kid profile is Older Kid.
The main issue is that when we switch between the kid profile and our profile the home dashboard still shows the kid dashboard.
The solution (which isn’t really a solution) is to just toggle the side bar off home to another menu item, then come back to Home and it reloads the proper Home Dashboard.
Seems like it’s not refreshing the cache after switching profiles.
I was coming here to actually bring up this issue as well. I have two separate libraries for kids movies and grown up movies. I’ve noticed that the issue appears only on the Home Screen for the continue watching stuff. Thankfully, if my kid opens their profile but try to click on one of the movies/shows to continue watching, it does not let them. But the fact that it appears is issue enough. Clicking on different tabs does not work in our case, you have to exit the profile (going to the profile selection screen), and then click on the same profile again and that will then load the correct person’s home screen. The problem is, it’s constant and we have multiple kids, so even the kid’s continue watching screens getting screwy. The Plex app appears up to date but this most recent app is from March 2021! I can’t believe the client hasn’t been updated since then!
Yes, that’s the good thing at the very least. They can’t play the shows/movies that are not designated as Kid Friendly.

A little more information on my situation, over the weekend, I have noticed that if I switch FROM a kids profile TO a non-kids profile, I see the issue TBoneStaek described where I have to exit the profile which is the only way to clear the kids shows from populating in the Home Menu for a non-kids profile (regardless of sidebar menu toggling) BUT if I am switching FROM a non-kids profile TO a kids profile, I can just toggle up and down in the sidebar menu and it refreshes the Kids profile Home Dashboard.
Also, if I go to the Movies or TV Shows page, on either profile after switching, those pages load the correct content. It seems that this is just an issue with Home Dashboards.
