Samsung TV died and looking at a new LG. Plex website does not show webOS 6.0 compatibility, can anyone confirm new 2021 LG TVs can use the Plex app?
From what I have read, there seems to be some 4K files like previous LG models that give issue.
I would personally not worry as 1080p titles play really well as long as you avoid 7.1 HD-MA audio. The Scalers in these modern LG OLED are just amazing
If you want to play your own copies of 4K with 7.1 HD-MA audio, I would suggest a Nvidia Shield pro or an Apple TV 4K with InFuse 7 and a good audio system. 4K via streaming companies work just fine with a good Internet connection or streaming Satellite providers.
So Lg webos 6.0 and newer 2021 models work? It works with 1080p? Im confused. This is in regards to the Plex server running to the LG TV
