I’m having issues marking movies/tv shows as watched. I’ve also tried watching an unseen movie and tv-show and upon completion, it’s not marking the file as watched. When I try doing it manually via browser in Plex, I get an error saying, “There was an unexpected error marking an item played.” And that’s it.
This has only started to occur the last 24hrs.
Thanks for the logs (although you should keep Vebose logging disabled).
From the logs I can see that you have some database corruption which is the likely culprit preventing you from performing certain actions:
Nov 04, 2020 21:58:31.273 [0x7fef3688f700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, database corruption at line 69695 of [bf8c1b2b7a] Nov 04, 2020 21:58:31.273 [0x7fef3688f700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, statement aborts at 83: [update metadata_item_settings set account_id=:metadata_item_settings_account_id,guid=:metadata_item_settings_guid,rating=:metadata_item_settings_rating,view_offset=:metadata_item_setti Nov 04, 2020 21:58:31.296 [0x7fef3688f700] ERROR - Exception inside transaction (inside=1) (../Library/MetadataItem.cpp:11229): sqlite3_statement_backend::loadOne: database disk image is malformed
There are steps outlined in this article on how to repair database corruption: https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/

Thanks a lot for a swift response. Its much appreciated. Apologies for the Vebose, once i read its supposed to be off, i turned it off.
I’m using Plex Media Server on Synology NAS. So that link wasn’t too helpful, but i found a link explaining how to do it on a Synology NAS - How to repair database on Plex Server on my Synology
Thanks again.
