Libraries not shown after adding

Server Version#: 1.25.6.5577
Player Version#: Irrelevant, this is a server issue

I had been having some trouble with my Linux installation (I was stuck in a login loop, which also meant that Plex Media Server wasn’t running), so last night I did a clean install. I use Linux Mint, which has generally been very trouble-free for me.

Note that my media are on an external hard drive, so they were unaffected by the clean install. However, I do have to reinstall Plex Media Server, then re-add my libraries and let Plex scan the folders. I’ve done this several times before and am accustomed to it.

This time, what I’m experiencing is this: I am able to add libraries and select the correct folder for each library, and Plex scans the folders as intended – I can see the scanning and processing happening in the Alerts view. However, when this is done, I go to Manage → Libraries in Settings…and there are no libraries!

Any ideas on what could cause this, and how to fix it?

Well, this resolved itself after a little while. The libraries are now showing as they should.

Leaving this up so that anyone else who runs into this knows to wait a bit (for me it took several hours) and the libraries should show.
