Noob, but had Plex running smoothly for a couple of months. I spilled coffee on my MacBook ~10 days ago and fried it. Got an M1 Mac Mini and restored identically via Time Machine. All of my media is on an external disk.

So, no problem using Plex, but Plex isn’t recognizing any new media files that I’ve added since my disaster. Plex Media Server has Full Disk Access (System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy).

Check your database for corruption. Time Machine backups could have been created while Plex was writing to its database and therefore cause some corruption when restoring them.
