Rasplex + network HD

Hi,

I’m a complete beginner in Raspbery and I wonder if I can do this :
I’m using plex with a video projector and I would like to have the plex media center installed in Raspberry Pi and have this connected to my network HD connected to LAN cable where I storage my films.
If yes, could I be able to have access to the files in the HD normally from my computer ?

And if you have, sites or tutorials to orient me, would be great !

Thanks for the answer. I meant plex media server in raspberry.
I already have my plex media server working in my computer. I would like to make it work without the computer and less money than a NAS.

Something like this http://www.htpcguides.com/install-plex-media-server-on-raspberry-pi-2/ , is it possible plex media server in raspberry ?
but I don’t know if I can connect my network LAN HD (a lacie d2 network 2) with raspberry to make it work and after rule it with phone or computer randomly with the wifi plug.

This forum is for Rasplex, the Plex client not server.
