Since upgrading to 1.19.2.2737 library scans are suddenly taking a factor of ten times longer to perform. A TV library scan that used to take 2 minutes now takes more than 20 and my overnight maintenance scans now run well into the next morning.
These seem to be the currently active ones.
Please let me know if you need others.
My remote access is also currently up and down all day, not sure if this is due to the excess activity.
Your log is blank. Make sure debug logging is enabled in your PMS settings. Then scan you library again. Let it run for at least 5 minutes then you can stop it. I just need the scanner log.
Maybe two different issues then as the overnight maintenance activity on all files is still happening as shown in the local media logs.

Yikes. Not sure what’s going on but definitely doesn’t look good. When you get a chance, restart PMS, wait 3 minutes without doing anything, get me the PMS log.
I have a process of adding episodes to \TV series as they come out then once a series is complete moving them to \completed TV series (which gets backed up). That file would have moved months ago though so no idea why it would still be looking in the original location? There certainly has not been a large scale movement.
Server is still doing overnight media analysis (from 8 hours ago!) so will wait till this finishes before doing restart and getting server log again.
At first glance I see you still have a bunch of old plugins installed. One of these might be causing a conflict with the scanning. I would remove all of these, since they don’t work anyways.
Second, you moved your Plex data folder to J:. What type of drive is that? Is it local (connected to your motherboard), external, or hopefully not on a network drive.
J is an internal SSD.
I will clear out most of the plug-ins but they have been there forever and the scanning change only came in with the last upgrade so doubt it is that.
The overnight maintenance starts at 1am and now doesn’t finish before 10. Prior to this upgrade it started at 2 and was always finished well before 6 (not sure exactly when but was never running when I got up).
Still worried about those messages in previous server log as they seemed quite drastic.
There were no errors at the start of the log so it may be due to the maintenance tasks. If you can grab me the logs shortly after the maintenance starts, I can see what is triggering them.
Removed most of the plugins.
Some of the issues seem to have gone or worked round.
Manual refresh now taking 6 minutes.
I took ‘upgrade media analysis’ and ‘extensive media analysis’ off the maintenance tasks and this now finishes before the working day (not exactly sure what these do but have been on for a long time without issue).
Not seen a re-occurrence of sql database errors.
