Library Selection screen not showing after login or reset customizations on android devices

With initial login to plex on any of my android devices (3 firestick max, and sony bravia android tv) the selection screen for which libraries to pin is being suppressed for some reason. this is only happening on android. the roku ultra has no issues. If i do “reset home customizations” it appears for a split second and disappears.

Can anyone shed some light on why this is happening and what i can do to “fix” it?. Plex by default isn’t pinning all libs, so currently the only way to add them to home screen is by going to more and pinning them all manually which is cumbersome, time consuming, and screws up Plex server default ordering.

Can you check the exact version numbers of the app on your devices. I cannot reproduce this yet.

I have the Amazon FireStick Max Plex app version available now. 9.7.0.34811 can get others later if still needed.

Update: all devices app versions are the same as above. i will edit OP cuz it does work on nvidia shield but not amazon Firestick and not Sony Bravia google tv. on both devices i reset customizations, spinning wheel, selection windows pops up for 5th of a second and disappear with no input. and app proceeds to home screen with 35% of the libraries pinned. there is no update to the plex app in either app stores.

any help with this? I tested on family members home FS Max Amazon Plex app and another friend with a Android Sony Bravia tv. same exact behavior.

Their version number were also identical.

Can you get the android logs from one of the apps that do this. I still cannot reproduce on any of my Android TVs

It has been a month since I sent the requested logs without help or response. The current version of Plex app offered from amazon and google app store is 9.9.0.35519 yet the problem still remains.

Can anyone offer any assistance on what that the root cause of this issue is?
