Would a skin less fanart intensive reduce the caching and improve performance on stuff like Raspberry Pi?
Next release skin will be already lighter as PlexInc has reduced the size of fanarts which are required.
This also drastically boosts the precaching speed, i'd say around twice faster.
Of course a lighter skin would probably imporve things, but that's usually some compromise between how nice it looks and how good it performs :)
Are there still big unused performance gains in the current port as well it uses the the RPi Hardware? I'm thinking for example of how much of the gpu is used to render the UI? Or does it currently depend on the cpu?
Is it possible to create my own skin?
