My server is becoming popular with my friends. Most of them have 4K TV’s and want to stream at the highest setting. I like sharing, but when its Friday or Saturday night, I want to selfishly watch movies at the maxim that Plex can stream to my account.
I want to be able to FORCE certain users to watch at a rate that I tell them to watch it at. Say my Girlfriend gets 5mbps, but my regular friend gets 2mbps.
How do I do this? I think this should be a simple feature - since users can set their own rate - where as the administrator can I set this as max?
With a PlexPass subscription you can use the Limit Remote Stream Bandwidth
setting which will set the maximum speed at which any individual playback stream can upload. For instance, you might decide that you don’t want any individual remote stream to go over 4 Mbps, even if you have a higher total internet upload speed and allow multiple streams.
Currently this isn’t settable per user, but for all remote users.

Not possible at this time.
Any idea if this is a feature that will be added? Is there an enhancement request place to post this?
