A way to configure on the AppleTV that the Plex profiles will be linked to the AppleTV/ID profiles and then when I change a profile in the AppleTV system then when I open the Plex app it will also switch the profile there without the need to change manually

It mentions that “If you design your app with individual profiles in a single shared account, consider Mapping Apple TV users to app profiles instead” which seems to be how Plex Home works.
I remember back when the accounts feature was added to the AppleTV (albeit targeted at separating game’s save files) I thought it would be a no brainer to add to the Plex app. Thanks for actually suggesting this (as opposed to me who just assumed someone would implement it anyway 
)
There’s actually an existing feature suggestion from when Apple first introduced this feature in tvOS 13 – covering both linking Plex users to the tvOS users AND multi user support. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect, I recommend you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes and attention (in which case I’ll close this thread as a duplicate).
Here they want the option to add the option to switch between several Plex accounts.
I want the option to switch between several “home” accounts within the same Plex account and have them link to an ID account on AppleTV, so when you switch to an AppleTV system wide account, it will also be switched within Plex
I understand… that’s what the other suggestion is about too… using tvOS’ multi user support to switch also the Plex user (managed or regular).
