Linking follow-up TV episode when it's on another series?

Putting episodes of NCIS on my server, and ran into a problem. NCIS S13E12 is “Sister City (part 1)” and the continuation of that is actually on NCIS New Orleans as “Sister City (part 2)” and actually on the NCIS disc.

How do I get these to play next to each other in PLEX? S13E13 is called “Deja Vu” for NCIS…

Episodes Split Across Multiple Files

Episodes that are split into several files (e.g. pt1, pt2), can be played back as a single file if named correctly. Name the files as follows:

/TV Shows/ShowName/Season 02/ShowName – s02e17 – Split_Name.ext

Where Split_Name is one of the following:

cdX
discX
diskX
dvdX
partX
ptX

…and you replace X with the appropriate number (cd1, cd2, etc.).

I’ve never run into this particular issue before…

Thanks…the disc1 & disc2 worked for that…it still only shows a single part1 on the thumbnails, but does roll over to part 2 when it gets to the end of part 1.

That works for me for now…maybe something to add to the upgrades & enhancements list for PLEX… :wink:
