Linux Client high CPU Usage

Server Version#: 1.29.2.6364
Player Version#:2.58.1

Hello everyone,
I´m using Kodi since a few years and evaluating Plex as an alternative.
My current “Tv Box” is an Intel Nuc NUC7PJYH2 June Canyon with a Pentium Silver J5005 CPU and running Archlinux.

I´ve installed the server and the client on that NUC from the Archlinux AUR.

But when I try to play “something” on the client, I see a high cpu usage of that client. Sometimes > 100% and the playback is stuttering.
It´s not possible to watch a 720p h264 file.
The Server process is doing fine - it´s the client.
Also a process called “QtWebEngineProc” is using > 40% often.

I´ve already disabled transcoding on the server and set the quality to “original” on the client. Audio is set to passthrough.

I´ve also tried to use the flatpak package but when I try to start it, it exits with "aborted (core dumped).

Do you´ve any tipps what I can check or do because of this?

See Testing Linux EGL and if that environment variable fixes things for you.

Thanks.
That worked for (local) files.
But Live TV with an attached USB Tuner is still decoded in software
