Plex Player for windows using high cpu when server is working

Recently I have noticed that when the server is working (detecting intros, chapter thumbnails etc) Plex player for windows starts using high (60-80%) cpu even when not playing a video, just having the app open (see video). Has anyone else found this? Is this an option on something I just need to switch off?

Could you check if the hosted web app is exhibiting the same issue?

Hi, No it doesn’t and neither does the linux version of the Plex Player, This is the web player while watching a video and the other is the linux plex player. The windows plex player is installed on 2 different versions of surface pros and does the same thing on both.
