Linux Desktop Player Unable to Direct Connect

Server Version#: 1.41.3.9292
Player Version#: 1.105.2.269-12a32491

I have a plex server I’ve been running without issues for the better part of a decade. It is fully accessible outside of my network, as proven with multiple different clients on multiple networks and it is correctly displayed as " Fully accessible outside your network" on the Remote Access tab of the server settings.

Every single client I’ve used, native or web, gets a direct connection without issue. The sole exception is the Linux Desktop Player I recently installed, which refuses to direct connect no matter what. A web player on the same system open side-by-side shows direct, the Remote Access tab in the desktop player shows accessible, but the native client refuses.

I wanted to use the desktop client because the web one will not allow me to enable hardware decoding and my entire library is stored in h265, so using the web client requires server-side transcode.

Does anyone have any ideas why this one native client doesn’t work?
