Linux post-install restart

I’m using Plex Media Server on a CentOS 7 machine at home and have the machine set-up to automatically update frequently.
When there’s an update to plexmediaserver, i have to manually restart it every time.

Would it be possible to add to the post-install steps to restart it if it was running before the update?

Already updated to keep track of this.

PMS state will be preserved and survive across updates.
This will be included in the new packaging (currently in forum preview testing)
