Lip Sync Issues

I've been using the XBox One app since launch and have experienced very noticeable lip sync issues across a range of content.

If I stop playback on the Xbox One and switch to Plex on my Roku 3, the lip sync is perfect, so I'm confident it's down to either the Xbox or the new app.

Lip sync is fine if I play content from the Amazon Video app.  It's also find from the TV connected to the XBox.

So I conclude the issue is with the app.  Anything I could try?  Has anyone else experienced any issues?

Tim

I get this too, mine will start in perfect sync then seem to buffer then gradually gets progressively more out of sync as it goes on.

Tested on roku, ipad 2 iphone and MacBook air and all those work fine. Makes some larger files on watchable. (Have also converted my MKV to itunes format to test and it’s no better)

I found another post around some xbox one issues and my lip sync problems are now solved I think.

I had preciously downloaded an xbox one.xml profile prior to Plex release.

I deleted this file and ended up deleting and reinstalling PMS and plex app and completely reinstalling.

I don’t know if reinstalling pMS was necessary but thought it worth a go.

Touch wood problem fixed.

Google this Default Step by Step Guide for using Plex with Xbox One (How to Guide for DLNA)

And the digiex link is what I had done so I reversed the process to find the file and delete it.

Hopefully this will work for you too.

Finally if you reinstall pMS don’t forget to make sure you log back into the server otherwise you’re xbox won’t find the server and will throw up an error saying you don’t have the latest server installed.

Here is the info to resign in that I needed to follow again after reinstalling pMS https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200484543-Connecting-a-Server
