Listened/Not Listened for music libraries

The movies/tv libraries have a way for you to easily keep track of what has been watched and what hasn’t. Since there’s really no good way to handle audiobooks in Plex, it would be nice to just have the same feature for music libraries too. For example, one of my music libraries is for audiobooks only, and it is set up with the artists being the author of the book and the title being the title of the book followed by Chapter 1, 2, 3, etc. If the tracks had the little orange triangle signifying “listened” or “not listened” it would be a lot easier to keep up with where you’re at in the book especially if you stop listening and swap over to your other music library and play something else. Maybe something like this exists already and I’m just oblivious.

This would be good for Old radio shows as well. I have a collection of these old radio shows would be nice if there was a way to keep track of the ones that have been played.

I have three audio libraries that are distinctly different:

  1. Music
  2. Audio Books
  3. Old Radio Shows (I.E. Our Miss Brooks, Gunsmoke, Tales of the Texas Rangers)

The Old Radio Shows have similar qualities to the TV shows such as seasons, and episodes.

the Audio Books and Old Radio Shows libraries it would be really useful to be able to mark as played or not. even a new category like “Other Audio” like the Other Video in library type would be a good way to keep them separate from music libraries and would probably solve the problems people are having with Alexa devices too.

Please PLEX add better support for these libraries.
