Hi,
I play a lot of my own recorded individual radio files (each one a single episode of a programme series (all .mp3)) and find it hard to know which tracks (files) I have listened to as they are not marked as Listened (like videos are marked as Watched). Is this normal or am I missing something?
There is no such thing as “played” for audio files.
Plex is only made for listening to music.
Radio plays or podcasts are not offcially supported.
Thank you, perhaps this could be considered for a future feature.
Thank you.
Although there is no on screen ‘played’ icon, the Plex database still records whether an audio file has been played (or not) so you can use advanced filters to filter “track plays = 0” and create smart playlists that can exclude played files
Excellent idea, thank you, I have also been marking the played tracks with 5 star ratings (if played) as that is easy to see and I don’t use the ratings for anything else
