When adding a track to a playlist, the last selected playlist is proposed (which is great when you’re going to breathe life into a specific playlist).
After changing the name of the specific playlist, the old name is still proposed when you add another next track.
This is for sure just a little bug. As a Plexamp rookie, I might be confused 
The proposed playlist should consider any renaming to be perfect
