Renaming music files without screwing up playlists

My OCD just kicked in. I’ve noticed that I have files named like “03- The Road I’m On.mp3” and others like “03. The Road I’m On.mp3”. The difference is the punctuation after the track number. People with OCD will understand me :rofl:

I’ve renamed a file just to test and Plex sees it as a new file. The old file is still in the playlist but it still refers to the old file name and has the Garbage Can icon.

Is there a way to have them all in the same format and editing the playlists so that they refer to the renamed format?
