Been listening to music this evening on the latest Plex android beta version on my ShieldTV. When I press the music note symbol to access lyrics the track’s playback stops and nothing happens.
Same track gives me lyrics and playback continues on my android phone using the same version of the app 5.0.0.503
Will provide logs if required but I believe it’s a platform specific bug so should be reproductible.
Thanks for reporting this issue KarlDag, I’ve been able to reproduce the problem and filed a bug report so it can be fixed.

Are live lyrics on Android TV broken again? All I get on the Shield is the clock icon over the album art with no lyrics/text.
Same here. Just the clock icon. Trying to back out or click on the clock crashes Plex.
If I had a dollar for each time they broke lyrics support…
The team has identified the issue and a fix is on the way.
