Hello!
I am very happy with my Plex pass and the live TV feature works great with my homepods on Apple TV ![]()
Dear Plex support, when a user browses live TV, Plex first displays the channel list and EPG (This is perfect!).
The problem I see is that if a user chooses a TV channel, on the Apple TV remote they have four options while the Channel is playing:
-Button Up: shows down the playback bar to fast forward or rewind minutes.
-Down button: displays channel information: EPG data, program title… Playback settings and technical details.
-Right button: fast forward 10 seconds playback time.
-Left button: delay playback by 10 seconds.
The behavior in the vast majority of IPTV programs or even in the home TV is to have two buttons (up/down or right/left) so that while the channel is playing you can go to the PREVIOUS or NEXT channel.
The Plex behavior to change a channel while a channel is playing is: go back, choose from the list the channel, press OK.
Can’t the way be rethought so that you can change a previous or next channel while a channel is playing (typical behavior)?
TIP: One option could be that the user from Plex settings can choose that the left/right button (forward/backward 10 seconds) can become previous/next channel.
Thank you very much for reading me, good day!!!
