Live TV & DVR Browser DVR Schedule gets "unexpected error"

Server Version#: 1.23.3.4707
Player Version#: Browser (Firefox & Safari)
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO
Guide/Lineup name: EPG?

Channel number/Name:

Browser apps will get unexpected error when you got to Live TV & DVR and select DVR Schedule from the top of the page (or if you’ve previously selected it and go back to Live TV & DVR). This only happens with with browsers. The Plex client app on the Mac does not have this problem. Other than not being able to check the DVR Schedule on web browsers, everything seems to work OK.

Further clarification. Using Plex app for windows works fine in calendar view, but when you switch to agenda view it just says there was an unexpected error and then I can’t switch it back to calendar view. The error seems be triggered by agenda view in Live TV & DVR Browser and gets unexpected error. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Going through the log, I think the main culprit is these errors -

Jul 13, 2021 07:05:31.994 [6364] ERROR - PlexClient::downloadContainer: expected MediaContainer element, found html
Jul 13, 2021 07:05:31.994 [6364] WARN - Subscription: No container available for /tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud:8/metadata/plex%3A%2F%2Fshow%2F5cffa16baf6727002114cbe3
Jul 13, 2021 07:05:31.994 [9980] ERROR - PlexClient::downloadContainer: expected MediaContainer element, found html
Jul 13, 2021 07:05:31.994 [9980] WARN - Subscription: No container available for /tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud:8/metadata/plex%3A%2F%2Fshow%2F5cffa4e87a4bee001da75a90

Any help would be very much appreciated… I’ve already tried deleting the DVR and resetting it up, but it seems to keep the shows its set to record. Is there a way to wipe the DVR data completely and do a fresh install.

Remove the DVR.

Stop Plex.

Find the directory where the database files are :Where is the Plex Media Server data directory located? | Plex Support

Remove any files that start tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud but leave the rest.

While you are there make sure you see dated copies of the main and blob databases occuring every 3 days, if not you will have to repair a database. Repair a Corrupted Database | Plex Support

Restart Plex and add the tuner.

Thank you. That seems to have solved the problem. After deletion the DVR, deleting the files you mentioned (which seemed to be backups after the deletion) and rebooting, it now seems to work correctly. It still remembers the shows its supposed to record, which I thought was what the problem was, but now I can go into agenda view in DVR schedule and it works fine.
