I am getting an unexpected error when navigating to the Live TV & DVR settings page in the Plex web app. Before this started happening, I was having another issue where the channel mappings would all disappear in the tuner settings.
Is it possible to clear out the settings for the Live TV & DVR and just start from scratch?
FYI, I am running Plex via the official docker image.
I’m having the same issue. Been erroring out a while now. Sometime it’ll load my hdhomerun box and says connected, but then disappears to the the unexpected error screen.
Same here. No live & VCR guide and it says “go to forums” and that’s it. Read somewhere there is a fix out, but I haven’t had any server updates in a few days.
What is the fix for this problem. When I go to settings after a fresh log in on the browser and click on live tv and dvr I see the screen for a split second then the error screen. I need to fix this asap!
Agreed. I bought a lifetime plex pass and now I’m regretting it. I’ve had this issue for over a month and no response other than others having the same frustration. I’ve recommended plex to my friends in the past. Now I’m considering looking elsewhere for a media server.
Same here with being a Plex pass subscriber… I don’t regret it, but would still expect some sort of way of filing a support ticket rather than posting on this forum and hoping that someone from support will respond/acknowledge.
@mjt_null_net , I am using the official docker container and the latest version that is available there (server version 1.24.3.5033). What version are you using? Mine is still doing the same thing.
I have the same problem. There doesn’t seem to be a way to reset all the DVR settings. Now stuck.
This isn’t good, as I am evaluating Plex DVR vs. other similar products and it’s let me down. I have potential users waiting on my findings.
Update: Solved by going to Plex console though its local IP address, e.g. 192.168.x.x:32400
Time will tell if it’s going to be reliable though. This is not a good start.
