Just wondering if you have an ETA on when the menu will line up to the right time on the Apple TV.
This has been an issues now for 4 months now. I keep waiting and hopping with each new update that this will be fixed. I have completely deleted my server and Apple TV plex app and reinstalled all. I have tried everything. The problem is not on my end. I thought for sure that this would have been fixed months ago. I kept waiting thinking how can this take so long to fix and thinking for sure others must be complaining! But no STILL not working after 4 MONTHS! I don’t get it. So frustrating to try to get the menu to the right time, back and forward and back and forward and then it finally will be at the right time… its unusable and its been like this for months. I guess no one else uses Plex and apple TV? and no developers at Plex ever test anything before they release it! I am an IT PRO for 30 years and I just don’t get it.
I switched my PLEX server over to a Linux box and still the same issue. I have tried EVERYTHING on my end, I sure hope you can get this fixed soon, so frustrating.
Are you referring to the case where the guide remembers where you were time-/date-wise, and when next you view the guide that’s where it starts you? And this is the case even if you leave the app and open it again?
If so, and you use an Apple TV 4th gen or 4K, you can force the issue by closing the Plex app. By closing it I mean double-clicking the Home button and swiping Plex off the screen. When you next open the app and browse to the guide, listings will show for the current time.
To be clear, I’m not suggesting that this should be considered a permanent solution, just a workaround to make your Live TV viewing a bit easier.
So its STILL NOT FIXED… been about 7 months now! can anyone recommend a media server that works? One of the main things I use on Plex it the TV&DVR and the time on the menu STILL doesn’t lineup and work. Need to find a new media server!
