Nvidia Shield App Version#: 8.30
Note that that “Live TV & DVR” still works fine on the web interface.
But the tab for “Live TV & DVR” is now missing from the shield app!
Can we get it back please?
I am seeing this on my Firestick this morning too! However I am only running 8.29.
All fine on the Roku front.
There’s been a change to the Love TV and DVR section.
If you go into “more” at the bottom and then choose Plex rather than your server it’s now all bundled into “Live TV”.
It allows you to favourite channels and also sort by genre.

I’ll save my other comments on first impressions until i’ve had a little bit more of a play.
Not sure if its the new version causing this but im getting yellow attention marks on DVR have to restart Plex for DVR to work again.
Nope.
OTA Broadcast TV from the tuner “Live TV & DVR” is NOT in the Plex section.
Under “Live TV” there are only the internet channels “Plex Channels”
At least on my Nvidia Shield.
Where exactly under “Live TV” do you find your local OTA broadcast channels?
Whoops! I don’t know if something changed or I was blind last night…
But I just found the OTA “Live TV & DVR” under my Shield server menu. I swear it wasn’t there last night. Maybe the PMS updated overnight (1.24.2.5319) or maybe I missed it yesterday.
It is annoying that with every update it seems it gets UNpinned from the top menu and I have to repin it. Oh well.
It’s not you. It happened to me on my Amazon Fire TV just the same way. I created a separate thread about it last night.
Looked to me like “Live TV” and “Live TV and DVR” had been merged and the DVR functions weren’t working right anymore. But today it seems back to normal.

Just got an update pushed that looks better than the version from a couple of days ago I’d complained about. The issues which I had earlier seem fixed although I literally just got it so don’t know what other issues there might be. But my first impression is good. 
Played with this today.
Buggy menu when browsing the guide and watching. It automatically goes to the top of the guide. Very irritating when you are channel flipping.
Lastly, still no way to return to currently playing channel from the guide.
OK, Now that I have upgraded, this is true for the 9.0 experience. But it was NOT true for the 8.30 version I was originally posting about.
