plex live tv shows up on Firetv Live TV but no DVR. Works on other firesticks and web and android.
Highlight "Live TV’ then press left and select the 3 dots. Select “Personalize” and then select “Manage guide sources”. Make sure everything has a check mark.
Live TV & DVR is not an option, I can see my other sources and watch recorded shows saved in library and setup DVR recordings using web or android another firestick but LiveTV & DVR is not an option on my firetv. It only list my servers libraries or the Plex streaming tv.
Under Plex server Live TV I can see DVR Schedule for my server but can’t schedule or tune in to ota live tv.
I said “Live TV” not “Live TV & DVR”. The “Live TV & DVR” option is gone… everything is consolidated under “Live TV”.

This is a complete disaster. Done so we can no longer eliminate their plex TV channels. No longer can you decide which live TV sources can be made available to which user. I have OTA and comcast xfinity. Want to share OTA, but not xfinity - illegal. Can’t do that anymore. Don’t want plex tv channels - can’t exclude them anymore. Now users can’t find live TV.
Really terrible update. Windows player OK, Roku and Apple TV stuck with new interface!!!
You can actually disable Plex Live TV by turning it off in “Online Media Sources” same as before and you can also unclick it as a guide source so there you go with that one. Nothing has changed in this regard so you’re simply wrong.
You could never exclude specific users from specific tuners before. You can only allow or deny Live TV access which hasn’t changed. Although, if you are running each source on a separate server then to have Live TV even show up you need to share an empty library if there are no other librarys on the server assigned to the user. So if you separate the two sources with two different servers make sure to not give your other users access to ANY other librarys on that server and Live TV wont show up for them.
Sharing your Xfinity is not illegal provided you aren’t stealing it or re-broadcasting it or bypassing a tuner limit. Which you can’t do with Plex anyways.
