Live TV & DVR - seasons are not separated but lumped together

Has anyone encountered a strange issue where all different season episodes are lumped together without categorization into season 1, 2, 3, etc.? This is the case of the series “Kojak” being recorded by Plex. Even though there are many seasons, it is not categorized per season. All episodes are mixed together. Very annoying. Any idea why?

I’ve noticed this with two series. Aerial America on Smithsonian and Frisky Dingo on Cartoon Network. Frisky Dingo files appear to be labeled correctly, but Aerial Americas has incorrect year.

I’ve got episodes from seven seasons recorded, but it clumps them all together.

At least I know I am not losing my mind here. Anybody from Plex would like to comment on this?

Sounds like you have changed the Seasons option under the Advanced Settings for a show.

I have never seen this setting before, nor modified it, yet for some reason it was on “hide” for these two shows that I’ve never even watched an episode of before. I just wondered in the overview "why does this show say X episodes instead of Y seasons and therefore noticed.
